Stan Turnbull.

Stan Turnbull is the security guard stationed at the front desk of the Eyrie Building. [1] Although he worked security for Xanatos Enterprises, he is probably not a member of the Xanatos Enterprises Security Force.

History

Shortly after meeting the Manhattan Clan in 1994, Elisa Maza "badged" and sped past Turnbull on her way up the skyscraper during the Clan's first confrontation with the Demona, Xanatos, and the Steel Clan. ("Awakening: Part Five")

In 1996, a disguised Oberon entered the building. Turnbull objected to Oberon bringing Boudicca in, who was disguised as a large dog, stating that only guide dogs were allowed in the building. To get past him, Oberon performed the Avalonian equivalent of a Jedi Mind Trick on him to make him look the other way. ("The Gathering" Part One)

Turnbull was enchanted again on Thanksgiving of 1997 when Demona arrived, carrying the Three New Keys to Power and was commanded to give her full access to the castle, unannounced. ("Unequivocal Success")

Greg Weisman has stated that Oberon saw Star Wars and may have thought Obi-Wan's name was a tribute to him. [2]
