"Cold Comfort" is the twelfth and final issue of the "Here In Manhattan" arc of the Gargoyles comic by Dynamite Entertainment. It was released on March 20th, 2024. Appropriately, "Cold Comfort" finds Coldstone as the narrator. By the end of the story, it is revealed that Coldstone was not narrating to the audience (or having an inner dialogue), but reporting in to his new secret ally.
"Cold Comfort" dramatically ends the Dino Dracon storyline and resolves (for now) the gang war between the Five Families. It also finds the Manhattan Clan reunited at last following Goliath's Hearing and the fracturing and reunion of the Trio. But despite the heroes' apparent win over the villains and the ensuing peace, by the end we discover that a greater foe has manipulated all parties to gain a stronger position for herself.
