Celebrity Hockey is a television sports program of which Hudson is particularly fond. It first appeared in "A Lighthouse in the Sea of Time". It aired a New Year's Eve Marathon at the end of 1996. ("Estranged")
Production background
Ten Celebrity Hockey players are mentioned by name in "Estranged": Bader, Belushi, Bennett, Cleverdon, Cumming, Cummings, Devane, Easton, Spiner and Tagawa. They are all named after Gargoyles voice actors, although two (William Devane and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) only appeared in the Bad Guys leica reel and not in any episodes of the series. Considering the name of the show, it is possible that all of these characters are meant to be Gargoyles Universe versions of the voice actors themselves, although this is not clear.
Characters voiced by each of these actors appeared in "Estranged", with the exception of Brent Spiner, who voiced Puck, and was thus presumably included because of the dual-meaning of the word 'puck' in the situation.
