"Eggs" - The nickname bestowed upon the gargoyles of the Avalon Clan by Tom.
History
After Tom was named Guardian of the Eggs by Princess Katharine in 994, they, with Mary and the Magus took the last rookery of eggs from Castle Wyvern first to Edinburgh, and finally to Avalon. Along the way, they used the term "The Eggs" so much that even though the clutch of eggs hatched on Avalon in 1058, Tom and Katharine continue to call them by the nickname all the way into young adulthood and beyond. ("Avalon Part One", "Avalon Part Three")
It is unknown whether they would continue to refer to the descendants of the original thirty-six gargoyles by this nickname or if only the founding gargoyles of this clan will sport the name.
