:::::: I have to agree with Griffinwyrm; it was a reference to the gargoyle/Hunter feud. If that's the case, the article should be altered to reflect it. On that note, shouldn't that section be designated as out-of-universe, under Production Background or something like that? I thought that Castaway's identity as Jon Canmore was referenced really briefly in the final episode of TGC, wasn't it? I could be wrong, but I seem to recall something like a voiceover or a news broadcast that says "John Castaway, also known as Jon Canmore, was arrested blah blah blah." Did I just make that up? It's one of the few things I thought I knew about TGC. -- Supermorff 13:26, 24 May 2008 (CDT)
- Never happened. The name Canmore was never said. -GregX
- Goliath hinted at it, but like Greg said..."Canmore" wasn't spoken aloud by either "G" or CastawayGriffinwyrm7 21:03, 24 May 2008 (CDT)
- When did Goliath even hint at it? -GregX
- Goliath said (and I'm paraphrasing here) "You would endager all of these innocent lives over what? An ancient hatred?" Here's the link [1], I didn't watch it all the way through...ugh...I just skimmed to the part were Goliath and Castaway confront one another. Griffinwyrm7 00:08, 25 May 2008 (CDT)
- That is way too vague to even count. Could have meant an ancient hatred most humans in general have felt for gargoyles. Not to mention there is no way Goliath could have known who Castaway really was. I'm sorry, it doesn't count. -GregX
- You forget that it's the Goliath Chronicles...they didn't pay much attention to little details. In any case, I tend to agree with you. It wasn't a real mention...it was just a vaugue hint, but I think that the Hunter/Quarrymen connection was the intent there...just not well executed.Griffinwyrm7 00:21, 25 May 2008 (CDT)

- Huh. Then I have no idea where that little memory came from. Dang. -- Supermorff 07:16, 25 May 2008 (CDT)
