The auctioneer conducted an auction for relics and antiquities in Geneva on November 18th, 1997. One of the items he sold was Cleopatra's Necklace, which he sold to Buyer 16 who had bid $900,000. When nobody bid $950,000.... once, twice, it was sold to Buyer 16. ("Acquistions")
