Xanatos's Office (Eyrie Building)
Xanatos's office is the command center of Xanatos Enterprises and is located inside Castle Wyvern atop the Eyrie Building.
History
In 1994, David Xanatos built an ultra-modern office into the castle as he raised it above the clouds to perch atop the Eyrie Building. He summoned Goliath into the office to manipulate him into attacking Cyberbiotics to "retrieve" (but in actuality steal) three data disks so he could bring the Steel Clan online. Demona listened into the meeting from the other side of a hidden door built into the wall. ("Awakening: Part Three")
Xanatos conducted many meetings here with the likes of business associates like Anton Sevarius. But at one point, their creation: Thailog entered the office and sent an email from Xanatos's computer to Sevarius in order to engineer his own kidnapping in a successful scheme to break free of them and embezzle $20 million. ("Metamorphosis", "Double Jeopardy")
The office suffered ceiling damage when he tested his new security air cannons as Talon and the Manhattan Clan came to the castle to investigate the disappearances of Goliath, Elisa Maza, and Bronx. ("Kingdom")
Owen Burnett spied on the Manhattan Clan's meeting with Macbeth and informed Xanatos of their plans to oppose him in seeking the Stone of Destiny from the office. ("The Rock")
Characteristics
The office is a large and mostly spartan room with an L-shaped desk raised by a platform, a personal computer and a lamp. It features a monitor on its west wall which is also used as a television, next to it is a visible doorway. On its east wall, to the side of the desk is a doorway built to resemble a piece of the wall. Whether this leads to a secret passage, laboratory, or just Xanatos's personal bathroom is not known; but Demona hid inside to listen in on Xanatos's attempt to manipulate Goliath.
The main entrance to the office are pair of double-doors built into the north wall.
Two paintings adorn the west wall, and two plants sit in the corners of the east wall.
The defining feature of this office is the large window which takes up the entire south wall and offers a picturesque view of downtown Manhattan. It also offers a look straight down to the city streets below.
