Macbeth Robot
The "Macbeth Robots" were two robots created by David Xanatos to resemble Macbeth, which attacked the Manhattan Clan. They were apparently intended to force the gargoyles to sleep on a rooftop where Xanatos could abduct Hudson, and then to keep them occupied for a few nights while he experimented with the Cauldron of Life and tested it on the old gargoyle. The first robot attacked them when they were on patrol. It was a tough opponent and the gargoyles thought it was the real Macbeth. When the clan defeated it, they thought Macbeth was dead, but the second robot attacked them the next night. Eventually Goliath destroyed it as well, in the process revealing that it was a robot. ("The Price")
The Macbeth robots looked and sounded just like Macbeth, and even used his signature lightning gun. However, they had a very limited vocabulary, with only four phrases at their disposal.
The Robots' Phrases:
- "Trophies!"
- "Farewell, my enemies!"
- "I've been looking for you!"
- "You'll have to do better than that!"
