History

Beth Maza has been a student there since at least 1994. ("Deadly Force")

In 1996, Avalon dropped Goliath, Elisa, Angela, and Bronx off at the university's swimming pool. ("Cloud Fathers")

Real World Background

While Flagstaff University is fictional, the city of Flagstaff does have schools for undergraduate and graduate learning. The most well-known is Northern Arizona University, founded in 1899. As a public research university, it is affiliated with the local Lowell Observatory, which discovered the dwarf planet Pluto in 1930. There is also Coconino Community College, founded in 1991.
