Welcome to GargWiki, your guide to the world of Gargoyles. The primary focus of the wiki is the Gargoyles Universe as envisioned by Greg Weisman, which includes the first two seasons of Gargoyles, the new comic book and spin-offs being published by Slave Labor Graphics. Information from the TV and SLG comics series can be found in the Canon category.

Over the past decade, Greg Weisman has revealed many secrets and plans he had for the Gargoyles Universe including spin-offs and new characters. Entries on these revelations are located in the Canon-in-training category.

Some canon entries contain text written in bold, blue type. This signifies, for easy distinction, Canon-in-training material in a primarily Canon entry.

Finally, the Apocrypha category is dedicated to non-canon Gargoyles material, such as The Goliath Chronicles, the Marvel Comic, the Disney Adventures comic and the Sega Genesis videogame.

"The Reckoning" is the sixty-first televised episode of the series Gargoyles, and the forty-eighth episode of Season 2. It originally aired on May 7, 1996. It was originally intended as being a two-part season finale, but was later on shrunk down to a one-parter after "Hunter's Moon" became the season finale.

"The Reckoning" revolves around a plan by Demona and Thailog to clone the Manhattan Clan. Demona also gets a chance to speak to Angela for the first time, trying to bring the young gargoyle around to her way of thinking, but finds that she has genuine feelings for her daughter. Thailog and Demona's partnership dissolves with betrayals on both sides, and the clones are adopted by the Labyrinth Clan. (more...)
