Halloween Street Fair
The Halloween Street Fair is an annual block party held in Greenwich Village to celebrate Halloween.
History
In 1995, the Trio and Goliath attended the block party relishing that they could walk around on the streets without the humans knowing that they were gargoyles. Goliath also attended, on the arm of Elisa Maza. Having donned a costume of Belle from Beauty and the Beast, the two shared their first dance. While at this party, the clan had a brief encounter with Careless Jones and Vinnie Grigori.
The festivities were interrupted by the werefox who had invaded while hunting for food. But Goliath and David Xanatos managed to tear the Eye of Odin from her ad save her live.

Two years later, in 1997, the Manhattan Clan returned - having since been revealed to the world and declared sentient during Goliath's Hearing - as invited guests. Some of them being uncomfortable with their newfound celebrity. Careless Jones, wearing the same costume he did two years prior, approached Goliath and later shared a dance with Lexington while Goliath and Elisa shared their first public dance. However, John Castaway and the Quarrymen launched an attack, with the goal being to conduct as much damage as possible to force the gargoyles to "show their true colors". The attack was foiled by Gnash, and Castaway was arrested by the Gargoyle Taskforce.
In the aftermath, Gnash cemented his newfound friendship with Terry Chung as well as Billy and Susan Greene. ("Trick-Or-Treat")
Real World Background
As in the series, the real Greenwich Village regularly holds a Village Halloween Parade, which first began in October 31, 1974. It is believed to be the world's largest Halloween parade and the largest nighttime parade in the United States. [1] In 2012 and 2020, the event was canceled due to the impact of Hurricane Sandy and the COVID-19 pandemic, respectively.
