The three gargoyles follow the flare to the roof of a skyscraper unfamiliar to them, and Angela asks if it has a name. On top of the rooftop, the [[Invisible Woman]] tells the gargoyles that the building is called the [[Baxter Building]] and though they weren't the three heroes that were being summoned with the flare, they're pleased to see them. The Invisible Woman introduces the three gargoyles to the [[Fantastic Four]].

Following Demona's attempted theft of Odin's Shield ("A Prize Beyond Compare..."), the Manhattan Clan returns to the Eyrie Building confident that Elisa can return the artifact to the museum without them. Goliath descends into the castle, hoping to have a word with Hudson and Coldfire while Brooklyn wishes to check in with Katana and Gnash. After the older gargoyles leave, Angela, Broadway, and Lexington spot a fiery flare in the sky in the shape of an enormous '4'. They take off to investigate, with Broadway wondering if they could get one that spelled out Gargoyles - or at least a big letter G.
