Kenneth mac Alpin was the first King of Scotland.
History
Kenneth was a descendant of Fergus, the Irish prince who founded Dalriada. He united the various kingdoms of Scotland, and was crowned upon the Stone of Destiny at Scone. ("Rock & Roll")
