Production Background
Cenek Belinsky is a tribute to former Gathering of the Gargoyles staffer and co-host of the Voices from the Eyrie podcast, Greg Bishansky. Karine Charlebois first drew him into the second and fourth issues of Gargoyles: Bad Guys before Greg Weisman would bring him back as a member of Tomas Brod's mob. [1]
Greg Weisman referenced Greg Bishansky once before, on an episode of The Spectacular Spider-Man as a chauffeur once hired by Norman Osborn, and his son Harry told a story to his new friends about how said chauffeur was the worst ever. This reference showed up in the season one, episode five episode: "Competition" and again in the radio play "Religious Studies 101: A Handful of Thorns".
