Micro-Electric Mosquito

A robotic mosquito is, as its name suggests, a small insect-like robot capable of inconspicuously drawing blood from a target. Demona used such a device in order to gather DNA samples from Hudson, Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington and Elisa Maza. These samles were used to create the clones: Burbank, Malibu, Hollywood, Brentwood and (without Demona's foreknowledge) Delilah. ("The Reckoning")

Later, when Thailog intended to gather DNA from members of the Manhattan Clan, he was rather less subtle about it, and thus did not use a robotic mosquito. ("Bash")
