Cary Bates

Cary Bates is a comic book, movie and television writer. He has written both live action and animation. He was born in Pennsylvania in the United States. A special thanks to Cary was given in the credits to the comic book story "The Flashback of Notre Dame" (written by Greg Weisman and penciled by Christopher Jones) from the 2000 one shot JLA Showcase.
Bates also wrote the W.I.T.C.H. episodes "B Is For Betrayal", "I Is For Illusion", "P is for Protectors" and "U is for Undivided".
In 2017, Cary Bates and Greg Weisman reunited as writing partners with The Fall and Rise of Captain Atom. [1]
