Harold Harefoot was King of England from 1035 to 1040 (and thus King of England during most of King Duncan's reign in Scotland).
The son of Canute of Denmark and Elfgiva, he reigned for five years before he was succeeded by his half-brother, Hardicanute. [1][2]
