Shahpar Bamdad in 1997.

Shahpar Bamdad is a human living in New York City. She makes greeting cards for a living.

History

A resident of 601 Amsterdam Avenue, she was a tenant of 4B when her neighbor in 4C, Mr. Fletcher, was injured (and later died) from an explosion in his apartment, which she and the other tenants believed that the negligence of their unseen landlord, Mr. Huxley, was to blame. ("Stone Cold Case")

During a blizzard in December 1997, her cat went missing. [1] Bronx and a bull terrier searched Central Park and found her by Claremont Arch, where she had just given birth to three new kittens. The beast and dog reunited the cats to Shahpar. Shahpar took all three cats as well as the bull terrier home with her. ("Bronx")

When Broadway personally reopened Elisa Maza's cold missing persons case, Shahpar later answered the gargoyle's questions as his second suspect. The gargoyle's curiosity led to the revelation that not only had the long-since missing Mr. Fletcher quietly returned as the building's super, Clarence, but that he had signed the building over to his former tenants, of which Shahpar was now an equal-part owner. ("Stone Cold Case")
