Thomas Francis Wilson, Jr. (born April 15, 1959) is an American actor, comedian, writer, musician, painter and voice over artist. He provided the voice of Matt Bluestone on Gargoyles although he is perhaps best known for playing Biff Tannen (and related characters) in the Back to the Future film series, and Coach Ben Fredricks on Freaks and Geeks.
On Gargoyles, Tom initially auditioned for one or more of the Trio. Although he didn't get the role, Greg Weisman liked him and suggested him to Jamie Thomason when they created Matt Bluestone later in the first season. Greg has worked with Tom many times since, even creating the character of Pete Costas in Max Steel specifically with Tom in mind.[1]
He also voiced Ashton Carnaby on Atlantis: Milo's Return and Stan Carter on The Spectacular Spider-Man.
