The NECA Action Figures are a series of action figures based on Gargoyles that are currently being released by NECA, beginning in 2021. The direction and development of the line is under the supervision of Randy Falk. Beginning with Broadway's release, Stefan Folkins also supervised the direction and the development. Photography for all figures is credited to Stephen Mazurek.
NECA first announced on Twitter on March 25th, 2021 their Goliath action figure. [1] On June 15th, they announced that the response had been overwhelming and that they intended this to be a full line [2], and on November 2nd, they announced that "thirteen" figures were completed with plans to display them at Toy Fair in February 2022. [3] When asked about their thoughts behind the look, they explained that action figures had come a long way since 1994 and wanted to modernize the looks with more detail and anatomy. [4]
At 12:01 am, on June 25th, 2021, NECA posted a stop motion animated commercial for their Goliath action figure, by D.M. Galloway. The commercial also featured the first glimpse of NECA's Demona action figure. [5]. Demona was later officially announced, alongside Thailog on July 19th, 2021. [6] On July 23rd, 2021, it was announced that eight more figures were completed for an intended 2022 release with even more than that planned. [7][8]
NECA announced on October 13th that additional pieces for gargoyles such as closed wings and other larger bonuses will be packed with smaller figures such as humans and Lexington. [9] For NECA's 31 Nights of Fright, they revealed the figures for both Bronx and Hudson. [10][11]
On February 20th, 2022, NECA revealed at Toy Fair Broadway, Brooklyn, and Lexington figures. [12] For International Woman's Day, NECA also teased a silhouette that ultimately turned out to be their figure for Elisa Maza, revealed in full the following year (and a day). NECA, through their Haulathon event through Target, confirmed on March 11th that Demona and Bronx would be released during the event starting on March 18th. A second stop motion animated commercial by D.M. Galloway was posted, showcasing Demona and Bronx. [13]
At San Diego Comic Con, NECA revealed on July 20th the figures and various accessories for Angela, David Xanatos, Armored Xanatos, and Steel Clan. By August 22nd, NECA also revealed Coldstone on the cover of the debut issue of ToyCollectr. Later that year, NECA released additional stop motion commercials featuring Brooklyn and Hudson, the former for the 28th anniversary of the series. [14][15]
NECA released its next stop motion commercial, feature Broadway, Hudson, Demona, and Goliath on May 26th, 2023. [16] Two months later at San Diego Comic Con, NECA revealed two episode-specific sets. The first, a two-pack, featuring Goliath and Demona (with the Phoenix Gate) from "Vows" and the second showcasing Detective Broadway from "The Silver Falcon". [17]
On May 6th 2024, NECA's brand manager, Blaine Rodenbaugh, said on an Instagram Q&A that news about Macbeth and Coldstone would be given at San Diego Comic Con in 2024. He also said that characters that appeared in the comic book continuations were being discussed but that they wanted to produce more characters from the show first. [18]

Goliath
The time of the Gargoyles has come again! Arguably the best gothic cartoon of the 1990s, Gargoyles followed an ancient clan of gargoyles transported to modern-day Manhattan when their Scottish castle is relocated.
Leader Goliath joins the Ultimate line with an appropriately large 8" action figure, with a wingspan of 16 inches! The Disney's Gargoyles Ultimate Goliath figure features full articulation, including on wings and tail, and comes with plenty of accessories: wings, jalapeno pepper, book, and interchangeable heads and hands.
The first figure to be released by NECA was Goliath. The figure features alternate portraits: one a calm face and the other an growling, eyes glowing face. He also features alternate hands, fists and flared talons as well as a book (showcasing the character's love of reading) and a jalapeño pepper as seen in the episode: "Protection".
An alternate set of cloaked wings will be included with the NECA Bronx figure.
The figure was sculpted by Djordje Djokovic, fabricated by Roger Fernandez and Anthony Minichino, painted by Jon Wardell and Geoffrey Trapp, and the packaging was designed by Chris Raimo.
Thailog

Thailog was created with genetic material stolen from clan leader Goliath - as a result he is just as strong and intelligent but utterly evil thanks to Xanatos's subliminal indoctrination. The Thailog action figure measures 8 inches with a wingspan of 16 inches! The figure features full articulation, including on wings and tail, and comes with plenty of accessories: briefcase with removable money, flare gun, and interchangeable heads and hands.
