The New York Dam was a dam in the state of New York presumably located north of Manhattan.

History
In late October of 1996, after the destruction of the Clock Tower, the Hunters hid their airship in the waters behind the dam as Robyn Canmore worked to decrypt a data disc she stole from the Nightstone Unlimited Building. While this was happening, Goliath (using a Scarab Radio Transmitter that Robyn had planted on him the previous night) was guided to the dam by Lexington and upon finding it seemingly deserted, Lexington advised Goliath to turn a switch reversing the tracer's signal. With the tracer back online, the Hunters rose from the waters and attacked Goliath astride their Sky-Sleds.
Goliath battled valiantly and disabled Jon Canmore's sky-sled but would have likely been killed by Robyn had Broadway not intervened to help Goliath in the fight, having brough Elisa Maza with him. But Elisa was more interested in ending the fight and when she attempted to intervene between Goliath and Jason Canmore, neither listened to her and attempted to kill the other. Goliath knocked Jason backwards, the Hunter accidently slammed into Elisa causing both of them to go over the dam. Goliath dove to catch Elisa (while Broadway hoped to catch Jason) but Elisa vanished into the spillway and Goliath cried out in anguish, believing the woman he loved had perished.
Robyn and Jon also believed Jason had perished and, while both Elisa and Jason did survive, this incident pushed Jon Canmore even further into his transformation into John Castaway. ("Hunter's Moon" Part Three)
