Flagstaff is a town in Arizona. Beth Maza attends the university here.
History
Peter Maza's ancestors (who may have been members of the Hopi) lived in or around Flagstaff. Some time ago they built the Coyote Carving to honour Coyote, one of their Kachinam. Peter's father, Carlos Maza, is buried near the town.
When Beth Maza chose to become an anthropologist (like her mother, Diane Maza), she chose to focus on her father's Native American roots and enrolled at a university in Flagstaff, majoring in Native American Studies. [1]
Goliath, Elisa, Angela, and Bronx arrived in the swimming pool of the University of Flagstaff on June 16, 1996 during the end of the Avalon World Tour, and stopped Xanatos and Coyote 4.0 from capturing Coyote the Trickster, with some help from Peter and Beth Maza. ("Cloud Fathers")
