*Puck's flute -- An item page, probably a stub for now, but it did appear in a couple of episodes.
+
*Dracon Family -- Does anyone else think New York's biggest crime syndicate deserves it's own page and category, or do you guys think the Tony Dracon and Organized crime pages pretty much cover everything relevant? -- Algernon 08:01, 22 October 2009 (CDT)
*Gargoyle Way -- We hear this phrase a lot to mean a lot of different things. Maybe someday we can cook up a page talking about the gargoyle code (parenting, banishing, leader/second, all that) Mabe it could help split up the gargoyles page more, as I did when I made clan. -- Matt 16:44, 1 January 2008 (CST)
+

:I would rather have a series of interconnected pages, like Gargoyle, Gargoyle culture (which would link out to, e.g. Clan and Wind Ceremony), Gargoyle biology (which would link out to, e.g. Egg), and maybe even Gargoyle history or similar. We can keep some information (mostly canon) in the main article and then direct people wherever they want to go. Gargoyle Way can redirect to Gargoyle culture. We might even be able to merge some info back into more general articles from clan and egg and whatever else. To keep in line with the archives at Ask Greg, gargoyle culture could also be called gargoyle customs. ... Huh. That seems kinda complicated when I write it all out. -- Supermorff 17:21, 14 January 2008 (CST)
+
*Construction Worker -- Another recurring character without a page. Where there any others we have not done yet? -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)
*Hovercraft -- Talk about hovercrafts and airships. Just a thought. -- Matt 11:48, 10 January 2008 (CST)

:Specifically Brod's hovercraft from "Golem" and "Turf". -- Supermorff

:Yeah, but we also had the Cyberbiotics' airships, the Hunter's airship and sky sleds and maybe others I can't think of. -- Matt 17:59, 14 January 2008 (CST)

::We might as well have separate articles for each: Brod's hovercraft, the Hunters' airship, and the sky sleds, etc. -- Supermorff 07:17, 2 June 2008 (CDT)

*Street Thugs -- Since we have pages for most of the other recurring characters, I figured they needed their own page as well. Maybe have a subsection for London Street Thugs. -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)

:They appeared in Awakening... uh... 3, Avalon 1 and Hunter's Moon 1. The voice actors who played them switched roles between their first and second appearances (Keith David went from playing the bald white guy to the black guy in a leather jacket). They acquired a gun before their third appearance. That's all I got on them. -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)

*Construction worker -- Another recurring character without a page. Where there any others we have not done yet? -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)

:From Vendettas and Hunter's Moon 1. Any other appearances? -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)

*Fairlane -- How about a page for Elisa's car?  We see it so much in the the show. It could go in the Vehicles Category PGFish 20:25, 9 April 2008 (CDT)
+
::Those are two different construction workers. --GregX 18:47, 9 January 2009 (CST)
:Since it wasn't identified as a Fairlane, I'd suggest just calling it Elisa's Car or something and mentioning that someone based it off the Fairlane in the Production Background or whatever. Just my two cents. -- Matt 21:22, 7 May 2008 (CDT)

* Executive Assistant -- Owen Burnett, Preston Vogel, Glasses, Shari, Robyn Correy... Not sure if this is a dumb idea or not, but I thought I'd put it out there for discussion. Feel free to totally reject this one. -- Matt

* Freakazoid! - In the style of other non-Gargoyles TV series, such as W.I.T.C.H., with focus on the Gargoyles references. In particular, mention the Lawn Gnomes segment (video) and the gargoyle at the opening of this video. -- Supermorff 15:33, 28 May 2008 (CDT)

*Xanatos Tag
Special:Shortpages contains an automatically-generated list of pages with the least information, but users can also list pages to be expanded here.
+
:You mean the bit at the end of an episode where Xanatos reveals that he was behind everything that happened (assuming that wasn't already obvious) and points out how even though the gargoyles foiled his plan or apparent plan, it's all good because he learned something that will make him more awesome?  Does that really need its own entry or can we just cover it in the David Xanatos article? -- Demonskrye 06:15, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
 +
::Yeah, one of them things. The problem with putting it in the Xanatos article itself is that Xanatos is an in-universe canon character, whereas the Xanatos tag is an out-of-universe production... thing. Besides, Thailog sometimes has his own "Xanatos tags" as well. -- Supermorff 06:45, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
 +
::I think a "Behind the Scenes" section would cover it. And we could put an additional link to Xanatos in Thailog's Behind the Scenes section when talking about his penchant for similar speeches. -- Demonskrye 07:28, 10 July 2008 (CDT)

*Space-Spawn War or Galactic War... something to describe the conflict between the Space-Spawn, the N'Kai and the unknown third race.
 +
:I think we should consult Greg to find out if he has a name for this war or at least a placeholder name. -- Matt 12:23, 12 October 2008 (CDT)

*Since we now have articles for two unmade stories ("The Weird Macbeth" and "Hobgoblin of Little Minds"), how about a page for the multi-trickster story (about which we know quite a bit, but not the title). -- Supermorff 04:40, 5 December 2010 (CST)

*Theseus: Even though he's barely mentioned in canon, I'm still kinda surprised that this page hasn't been created yet.  One of Greg Weisman's favorite characters, and there's more than one rambling dedicated to the guy (, , , ) . . . plus, he killed Taurus's ancestor, the Minotaur.  (Greg W. also has a caveat about introducing Theseus here , but I still think a page for him couldn't hurt) ;) -- Pheon 06:44, 6 December 2010 (CDT)

*It's hard to believe there's now so much merchandise that we may be actually falling behind! So for those interested in making them, a page for the Goliath Vinyl Soda Cans, and a page for the Diamond Select busts (Goliath, Xanatos, and Demona so far) are up for grabs. --Pheon (talk) 17:49, 3 June 2023 (PDT)

*No real place for these CIT tidbits until pages are built for the Arthurian characters of Guinevere and Lancelot (not to be confused with the future Manhattan Clan gargoyles). I don't see any urgency for those pages until Pendragon gets greenlit one day. So for ease of reference: --Pheon (talk) 19:35, 25 November 2023 (PST)

*Gilly's page and Robbins's book are not really the place for this, but Greg Weisman has indicated (vague) plans for the legendary hero plus other individuals like Enkidu, and (the evidently still immortal) Utnapishtim. Eventually there'll be a need for a Epic of Gilgamesh page for the poem, but for now the reference can live here. --Pheon (talk) 17:32, 15 January 2024 (PST)

*Gargoyles (video game) - per the talk page
+
*Morgause is apparently a separate character from any of the survivors, but there's no indication if she will have a role in any series, so the need for her own page is unurgent, but the reference can live here. --Pheon (talk) 22:10, 15 March 2024 (PDT)

*This is an unusual one, does anybody have any better pics of "Gargoyle" from W.I.T.C.H.? The one I have isn't that great. Ideally I'd like one from season 2 where he got that new lava hand from Nerissa. --Algernon 16:55, 13 August 2010 (CDT)

*Gargoyle - Demonskrye would like a picture or pictures of some real stone gargoyles for the Real-World Background sectionWe can keep the one of the stone gargoyles from the show, but I don't think the "life-sized" free-standing statues we see frequently in the series are really good representations of what most real-world gargoyles look like.  Plus, despite the caption, these particular gargoyle statues do not exist in the real world.
+
*A general thought, but it'd be awesome if we eventually found images for a lot of the old various merchandise, like the VHS's, books, and posters (even the ALA READ poster)No doubt, there's probably a few dedicated editors taking on this endeavor, but I thought it couldn't hurt to add the post . . . for officialness-sake :) --Pheon 21:30, 26 March 2011 (CDT)

*Angela, Gabriel and Boudicca as hatchlings would be a neat addition to their pages, IMHO. -- Matt 22:09, 7 June 2008 (CDT)

*Not sure if its something you might already have/in-the-works, DTaina, but I was thinking that a pan of the logo on Fortress-1 (from "Awakening, Part Five" I think) would be nice for the Cyberbiotics page. It might not be the official company logo for Cyberbiotics, but I think the page could use a cool pan :) --Pheon 10:09, 31 October 2011 (PDT)
:There's this pan: Raising the Hatchlings DTaina 22:15, 7 June 2008 (CDT)

::Yeah, I know about that pan and it is great, but I was thinking of individual close-up pics of the hatchlings. -- Matt 22:42, 7 June 2008 (CDT)

:::There's a close-up of Gabriel, but there are no close-ups of Angela and Boudicca. I've uploaded a few screenshots.  This is pretty much all that's available to us.  Just pick your favorites: 1 2 3 4 DTaina 08:29, 8 June 2008 (CDT)

::::I'd go with 1 and 3.  I think three is the best drawing of li'l Gabriel and 1 all we've got for li'l Boudicca and li'l Angela from the front.  Of course, 1 would probably have to be chopped up if we're putting pics on each garg's page. -- Demonskrye 18:46, 19 June 2008 (CDT)

:::::Yeah, I'll add the Gabriel pic soon, but I don't think we have good enough angles of Angela or Boudicca to bother with adding them, cute as they are. -- Matt 20:48, 19 June 2008 (CDT)

::::::It's too bad we have no close-ups of Angela and Boudicca as hatchlings.  That would be a great addition to their pages.  I could draw them but I don't think that's allowed.  So, you guys mind if I remove this request?  09:43, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

:::::::I'm fine with removing the request, since better shots of young Angela and Boudicca don't exist.  But could we maybe use pic #1 on the Avalon Clan page or something? It's pretty cute, I don't think we have many pictures of Tom at that age (though Angela's covering a good chucnk of his face, so I wouldn't put it on his page) and it seems like a shame to waste it. -- Demonskrye 12:48, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

::::::::I think that's a great idea.  I could get a frame where Tom's face isn't hidden.  Or we could use my pan, Raising the Hatchlings.  What do you think?  DTaina 16:47, 20 June 2008 (CDT)

Wanted Pages Cleanup
:::::::::Group consensus rules, but I think that's the way to go. If you can find one where Angela isn't covering up his eyes, that would be great.  And then we can delete this whole item before the indents start coming out the other side. -- Demonskrye 20:42, 21 June 2008 (CDT)
+
I've tamed the list to under 150. With new canon constantly being added on a (wonderfully!) monthly basis, I wanted to clean up the special page so that the majority of the dead links would either be pages the folks on this wiki would like to actually create and build one day, or continue to serve as placeholders for pages needing proper names (this second example mostly applies to future issues of the current comic). The remaining dead links are largely cluttering old talk discussions or were outright typos, and so eliminating them throughout the wiki will make it easier to determine what still needs making. In the case of the old talk pages, I hope those edits properly preserve those discussions without being obtrusive. --Pheon (talk) 22:52, 1 June 2023 (PDT)
::::::::::And, actually, yeah, I think we could do with a different picture of adult/elderly Tom. The helmet he's wearing on the one we use now makes his face look a bit strange.  -- Supermorff 04:22, 22 June 2008 (CDT)

:::::::::::Whoa, that's a lot of colons.  Anyway, here's your pic: Adult Tom DTaina 10:15, 24 June 2008 (CDT)

Images without pages
::::::::::::Looks great to me!  I'd crop it down so it's mostly Tom and just enough of Katherine to avoid confusion.  Then we can delete this whole conversation and end the colon madness.  (Though we should probably retain Supermorff's request for an new picture of old Tom.) -- Demonskrye 10:21, 24 June 2008 (CDT)
+
<gallery>
:::::::::::::Thirteen colons!  Must be a new record.  And I don't see why we can't use the full pic of adult Tom.  If we cropped it, then we'd have Katharine's disembodied hand and that's not a pretty sight.  Plus it's such a cute pic.  But if you guys want to crop it, then that's fine.  By the way, I'll look for a new pic of the Guardian after I come back from The Gathering.  DTaina 10:29, 24 June 2008 (CDT)

::::::::::::::A record which is immadiately shattered by FOURTEEN COLONS!  I'll have to see how the pic looks shrunk down, but I think we could keep enough of Katherine in to keep it from being disturbing and still eliminate some unecessary parts. (That's what I was getting at when I suggested keeping enough of her in the pic to avoid confusion.) But if it looks fine shrunk down and no one else minds, I don't care. Welcome to the GargWiki Community Portal! Here we provide a simple introduction to the GargWiki community and a few useful tools to help editors navigate the site.

Before you begin

New users are always welcome at GargWiki, however due to past instances of vandalism and spam against the wiki it has been locked to prevent users from adding or editing content without permission. If you wish to contribute to GargWiki, first create your username, then leave a comment containing your username at the Ask Greg Comment Room, asking to be allowed to edit the site. One of our bureaucrats will be happy to give you editing priveleges. Thank you for your patience.

If you are new to GargWiki, or wiki editing in general, you are encouraged to browse some or all of the following pages:

 • GargWiki:About - This page contains a brief description of GargWiki, an explanation of how articles are organized, and a short history of the site.
 • GargWiki:Copyrights - At GargWiki we do not accept copyrighted work of any kind without the copyright holder's explicit consent.
 • GargWiki:Policy - Here you can find a few behavioural guidelines that users are expected to follow while using this site.

Additionally, the Sandbox can be used as a space for editors to experiment constructively with wikitext and source code.

Ongoing discussions

GargWiki talk:Community Portal, this page's associated talk page, is for discussions and suggestions relating to the whole of GargWiki. If you would like to get more involved in the running of GargWiki, or if you have an idea to improve the site, you can add it there. Please remember to respect your fellow editors.

As well as this, here is a list of other ongoing discussions elsewhere on the site:

 • Talk:Sleipnir - Users are discussing how to categorize Sleipnir's species
 • Talk:Coldtrio - The canonicity of this article needs to be determined.
 • Talk:The Mirror - User:Vaevictis Asmadi has asked whether or not to link to the 2006 Radio Play in this article
 • Category talk:Hybrids - What is the origin and canonicity of the term "halfling"?
 • Talk:Appearences Section - Ongoing discussion relating to the Appearances Section of Canon Character articles. Also deals with citation within History Sections and possible future improvements to these pages.
 • Talk:Series Bible - Discussion concerning the addition of information from the Series Bible and what to do with it, etc.
 • GargWiki talk:Feature - Discussion concerning the Featured Article section on the Main Page and suggestions for future such articles.
 • Talk:Diane Maza - Was Diane Maza really named after Diane Duane and, if so, can we provide sources for this?
 • Talk:Generations (review) - Users are discussing possible formats and rules for both reviews and episode/story summaries.
 • Talk:PackMedia Studios - Users are discussing the various canon and grammar issues dealing with the Studio's name.

Tasks

In this section, editors can list GargWiki pages according to the work that needs to be done on them. Editors can request pages anonymously or sign their comments by adding three tildes at the end: ~~~

Editors are also encouraged to give a brief explanation as to why they have listed the page, and ideas for improvement.

Pages in need of expansion

Special:Shortpages contains an automatically-generated list of pages with the least information, but users can also list pages to be expanded here.

 • Humans -- Talent for invention and technology. Make too much noise (and constantly modify their environment) to sense the biorhythms. Probably invented naming. History with a focus on their relations with other races. -- Vaevictis Asmadi 10:07, 24 December 2007 (CST)
 • Kenner Action Figures

Requested pages

Special:Wantedpages contains an automatically-generated list of non-existent pages with the most incoming links, but users can also request pages to be created by listing them here.

 • Dracon Family -- Does anyone else think New York's biggest crime syndicate deserves it's own page and category, or do you guys think the Tony Dracon and Organized crime pages pretty much cover everything relevant? -- Algernon 08:01, 22 October 2009 (CDT)
 • Construction Worker -- Another recurring character without a page. Where there any others we have not done yet? -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)
From Vendettas and Hunter's Moon 1. Any other appearances? -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)
Those are two different construction workers. --GregX 18:47, 9 January 2009 (CST)
Pages for both? Construction Workers A and B? -- Supermorff 04:40, 5 December 2010 (CST)
You mean the bit at the end of an episode where Xanatos reveals that he was behind everything that happened (assuming that wasn't already obvious) and points out how even though the gargoyles foiled his plan or apparent plan, it's all good because he learned something that will make him more awesome? Does that really need its own entry or can we just cover it in the David Xanatos article? -- Demonskrye 06:15, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
Yeah, one of them things.
I think a "Behind the Scenes" section would cover it. And we could put an additional link to Xanatos in Thailog's Behind the Scenes section when talking about his penchant for similar speeches. -- Demonskrye 07:28, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
I think we should consult Greg to find out if he has a name for this war or at least a placeholder name. -- Matt 12:23, 12 October 2008 (CDT)
Good plan. I wonder if the involved races have different names for it? -- Supermorff
For future reference, Scarecrows! (I don't know where else to put it, since it is only a premise and not a full episode like the three above.) [1] --Pheon (talk) 22:18, 12 November 2023 (PST)
 • I was just thinking. We have aircraft and exo-frame pages. Shouldn't we have one for weapons? DTaina 21:46, 18 January 2009 (CST)
 • Theseus: Even though he's barely mentioned in canon, I'm still kinda surprised that this page hasn't been created yet. One of Greg Weisman's favorite characters, and there's more than one rambling dedicated to the guy ([2], [3], [4], [5]) . . . plus, he killed Taurus's ancestor, the Minotaur. (Greg W. also has a caveat about introducing Theseus here [6], but I still think a page for him couldn't hurt) ;) -- Pheon 06:44, 6 December 2010 (CDT)
 • It's hard to believe there's now so much merchandise that we may be actually falling behind! So for those interested in making them, a page for the Goliath Vinyl Soda Cans, and a page for the Diamond Select busts (Goliath, Xanatos, and Demona so far) are up for grabs. --Pheon (talk) 17:49, 3 June 2023 (PDT)
 • No real place for these CIT tidbits until pages are built for the Arthurian characters of Guinevere and Lancelot (not to be confused with the future Manhattan Clan gargoyles). I don't see any urgency for those pages until Pendragon gets greenlit one day. So for ease of reference: [7][8] --Pheon (talk) 19:35, 25 November 2023 (PST)
 • Gilly's page and Robbins's book are not really the place for this, but Greg Weisman has indicated (vague) plans for the legendary hero plus other individuals like Enkidu, and (the evidently still immortal) Utnapishtim. Eventually there'll be a need for a Epic of Gilgamesh page for the poem, but for now the reference can live here. [9] --Pheon (talk) 17:32, 15 January 2024 (PST)
 • Morgause is apparently a separate character from any of the survivors, but there's no indication if she will have a role in any series, so the need for her own page is unurgent, but the reference can live here. [10] --Pheon (talk) 22:10, 15 March 2024 (PDT)

Requested images

Here, users can list articles that they believe could be improved by the inclusion of appropriate images.

 • Ishimura Clan -- Matt has requested a collage of higher quality pics of all members seen in canon.
Yeah, there's a pan of it but I haven't finished it yet. DTaina 01:44, 10 February 2009 (CST)
 • Demona's Clan needs an updated picture (collage?) with new clan members shown in the TimeDancer comic arc. -- Litwolf 25 August 2009
 • Old Pog could use another pic of him not in his stone form, although this may require someone to donate a model sheet or a drawing not used in the comic. -- Supermorff 10:22, 12 December 2010 (CST)
 • This is an unusual one, does anybody have any better pics of "Gargoyle" from W.I.T.C.H.? The one I have isn't that great. Ideally I'd like one from season 2 where he got that new lava hand from Nerissa. --Algernon 16:55, 13 August 2010 (CDT)
 • A general thought, but it'd be awesome if we eventually found images for a lot of the old various merchandise, like the VHS's, books, and posters (even the ALA READ poster). No doubt, there's probably a few dedicated editors taking on this endeavor, but I thought it couldn't hurt to add the post . . . for officialness-sake :) --Pheon 21:30, 26 March 2011 (CDT)
 • Not sure if its something you might already have/in-the-works, DTaina, but I was thinking that a pan of the logo on Fortress-1 (from "Awakening, Part Five" I think) would be nice for the Cyberbiotics page. It might not be the official company logo for Cyberbiotics, but I think the page could use a cool pan :) --Pheon 10:09, 31 October 2011 (PDT)

Wanted Pages Cleanup

Images without pages
