Tasks
In this section, editors can list GargWiki pages according to the work that needs to be done on them. Editors can request pages anonymously or sign their comments by adding three tildes at the end: ~~~
Editors are also encouraged to give a brief explanation as to why they have listed the page, and ideas for improvement.
Requested pages
Special:Wantedpages contains an automatically-generated list of non-existent pages with the most incoming links, but users can also request pages to be created by listing them here.
- Gargoyle Way -- We hear this phrase a lot to mean a lot of different things. Maybe someday we can cook up a page talking about the gargoyle code (parenting, banishing, leader/second, all that) Mabe it could help split up the gargoyles page more, as I did when I made clan. -- Matt 16:44, 1 January 2008 (CST)
- I would rather have a series of interconnected pages, like Gargoyle, Gargoyle culture (which would link out to, e.g. Clan and Wind Ceremony), Gargoyle biology (which would link out to, e.g. Egg), and maybe even Gargoyle history or similar. We can keep some information (mostly canon) in the main article and then direct people wherever they want to go. Gargoyle Way can redirect to Gargoyle culture. We might even be able to merge some info back into more general articles from clan and egg and whatever else. To keep in line with the archives at Ask Greg, gargoyle culture could also be called gargoyle customs. ... Huh. That seems kinda complicated when I write it all out. -- Supermorff 17:21, 14 January 2008 (CST)
- Construction Worker -- Another recurring character without a page. Where there any others we have not done yet? -- Matt 17:15, 23 January 2008 (CST)
- From Vendettas and Hunter's Moon 1. Any other appearances? -- Supermorff 15:10, 1 February 2008 (CST)
- Those are two different construction workers. --GregX 18:47, 9 January 2009 (CST)
- Executive Assistant -- Owen Burnett, Preston Vogel, Glasses, Shari, Robyn Correy... Not sure if this is a dumb idea or not, but I thought I'd put it out there for discussion. Feel free to totally reject this one. -- Matt
- Freakazoid! - In the style of other non-Gargoyles TV series, such as W.I.T.C.H., with focus on the Gargoyles references. In particular, mention the Lawn Gnomes segment (video) and the gargoyle at the opening of this video. -- Supermorff 15:33, 28 May 2008 (CDT)
- Leica Reel - as in the Bad Guys leica reel. -- Supermorff 13:22, 26 May 2008 (CDT)
- I think this should specifically be Bad Guys Leica Reel with Leica Reel redirecting to it. -- Demonskrye 06:15, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
- Redemption (story-arc) and Clan-Building. -- Matt 12:23, 6 July 2008 (CDT)
- With the cancellation of the comic, I'm not sure these pages are necessary any more. Gargoyles (SLG) is now more-or-less synonymous with Clan-Building, and Gargoyles: Bad Guys is pretty much synonymous with Redemption (story-arc). That said, we probably should put some information specific to the story-arcs into these articles. -- Supermorff 12:46, 9 September 2008 (CDT)
- You mean the bit at the end of an episode where Xanatos reveals that he was behind everything that happened (assuming that wasn't already obvious) and points out how even though the gargoyles foiled his plan or apparent plan, it's all good because he learned something that will make him more awesome? Does that really need its own entry or can we just cover it in the David Xanatos article? -- Demonskrye 06:15, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
- Yeah, one of them things. The problem with putting it in the Xanatos article itself is that Xanatos is an in-universe canon character, whereas the Xanatos tag is an out-of-universe production... thing. Besides, Thailog sometimes has his own "Xanatos tags" as well. -- Supermorff 06:45, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
- I think a "Behind the Scenes" section would cover it. And we could put an additional link to Xanatos in Thailog's Behind the Scenes section when talking about his penchant for similar speeches. -- Demonskrye 07:28, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
- I don't doubt that a Behind the Scenes section could cover it, but why should it have to? By the way, has everyone seen this? -- Supermorff 12:02, 10 July 2008 (CDT)
- Gargoyles (trading cards) - So according to an advertisement in one of my old comics I just recently happened across, there was a line of Gargoyles trading cards produced by a company called SkyBox. The ad predates the series' premiere, and indeed informs potential viewers that the series will premiere in syndication that coming fall, the card series was set to debut April 1995, the whole page is really quite nostalgic in a way (especially given that I wasn't really aware of the show at the time), and all in all, something tells me we really ought to have a page about this. - Caswin 21:34, 18 July 2008 (CDT)
- Oh, yeah, that would be cool. There were two sets of trading cards-I have both. It might be interesting to have a page on the cards-maybe what is written on the cards themselves. Also, what about some of the books? Maybe we could list some stories from old Gargoyles books in the apocrypha section--PGFish 01:59, 19 July 2008 (CDT)
- (Three and a half months later...) Wait, there are books? - Caswin 13:11, 2 November 2008 (CST)
- Ellis Island needs a page--PGFish 12:56, 24 August 2008 (CDT)
- It appeared in "Legion". Anywhere else? -- Supermorff 15:37, 8 September 2008 (CDT)
- Space-Spawn War or Galactic War... something to describe the conflict between the Space-Spawn, the N'Kai and the unknown third race.
- I think we should consult Greg to find out if he has a name for this war or at least a placeholder name. -- Matt 12:23, 12 October 2008 (CDT)
- Good plan. I wonder if the involved races have different names for it? -- Supermorff
- Hakon's axe and/or Hakon's mace -- Supermorff 11:07, 23 November 2008 (CST)
- Gargoyles Universe - This should be a priority, I think. This page should define what exists inside the canon universe. I've noticed that most mentions of the Gargoyles Universe on the site direct to Gargoyles (TV series). Now that the Gargiyles Universe isn't confined to the TV series, I think we need to make a seperate page. -- Matt 11:37, 20 December 2008 (CST)
- Kenner Toys - A page about all the Gargoyles action figures and their impact on the series including the motorcycle, etc. Or perhaps a broader page called Gargoyles Merchandise? I dunno. -- Matt 11:46, 20 December 2008 (CST)
- Or Kenner, including all the Kenner toys, but including brief background on the company and the ways they... uh... influenced the show. -- Supermorff 13:02, 2 January 2009 (CST)
- Yeti - They were mentioned in "Reunion", so we sort of know they exist (and don't have wings). Greg has also confirmed that creatures exist who inspired legends of Sasquatch (here), so maybe we could mention that too. -- Supermorff 21:01, 31 December 2008 (CST)
- Nokkar's Ship - We've seen enough of it, and we would have plenty of images to include. --GregX 19:36, 3 January 2009 (CST)
- Do we need an entry for Brod's favorite restaurant? We have an establishing shot of it and some of the interiors, but we don't even have a name for it, and the place got blown up at the end, so I don't know. What do you guys think? DTaina 20:36, 3 January 2009 (CST)
- Not too sure about this. If you've got the pictures handy, then you could put them into Brod's page while we decide (or onto the talk page for Brod, if they'd take up too much room). -- Supermorff 17:11, 9 January 2009 (CST)
- We could have an article about the unmade story ideas we know about, all collected in one place. Mention the "Hobgoblin of Little Minds" (about which we know the title and nothing else), "Weird Macbeth" (about which we know quite a bit, including that it was originally "Puck's Macbeth"[1][2]) and the multi-trickster story. We can also mention story arcs (e.g. the release of Mab).
- Touchstone Live-Action Film - Writers attached to the project, some of the directions they were going in (off the top of my head: Macbeth being ruler of Wyvern, Othello sleeping for a thousand years and dying in modern day to be resurrected as Coldstone in the sequel, Lexington being renamed Alex), etc. -- Supermorff
- Eyrie Nightwatchman - In the commentary for Gathering 1 (here), Greg mentions the appearances of the Eyrie Nightwatchman, who had not appeared since (probably) Awakening. Worth putting him in? -- Supermorff 03:53, 17 January 2009 (CST)
- He gets a close-up and a scene with Oberon, so I think he's just about due for his own page. DTaina 04:11, 17 January 2009 (CST)
- Should the ball that Seline gave to Macbeth in City of Stone have its own entry? DTaina 04:17, 17 January 2009 (CST)
- I had that exact thought when I saw the picture you added of Duncan's death. It seems like it should, but I really don't know what to say about it. (Besides, obviously, that Seline gave it to Macbeth and it killed Duncan - added by the production staff so Duncan didn't have to fall to his death, but he still ended up toppling over the cliff. Actually, maybe that's enough.) -- Supermorff 04:31, 17 January 2009 (CST)
- I think she used it to tell Macbeth that Duncan ordered his father's murder, too. DTaina 13:30, 17 January 2009 (CST)
- Did she use it to tell him that, or just give it to him at the same time? Either way, it's a good representation of Seline embodying Vengeance, in that she is rather goading Macbeth into taking vengeance and giving him means to do so. What do we call it, then? Seline's Orb? -- Supermorff 04:15, 18 January 2009 (CST)
- "Seline's Orb"... I like that! And to answer your question, Seline made the ball while telling him what happened to his father. I don't know why she would give him the ball unless it had something to do with the revelation about his father. I could get the exact quote, if you want. DTaina 10:08, 18 January 2009 (CST)

Pages in need of expansion
Special:Shortpages contains an automatically-generated list of pages with the least information, but users can also list pages to be expanded here.
- Gargoyles (video game) - per the talk page
- Gargoyles (TV series) - addition of a History section, per Talk:Gargoyles (TV series)
- Gargoyles (SLG comics)
- Humans -- Talent for invention and technology. Make too much noise (and constantly modify their environment) to sense the biorhythms. Probably invented naming. History with a focus on their relations with other races. -- Vaevictis Asmadi 10:07, 24 December 2007 (CST)
- Glasses - Some explanation of what Glasses did as Dracon's right-hand man. His responsibilities, etc. -- Supermorff
Requested images
Here, users can list articles that they believe could be improved by the inclusion of appropriate images.
- Ishimura Clan -- Matt has requested a collage of higher quality pics of all members seen in canon.
- New Olympians -- Griffinwyrm7 has requested a collage of the New Olympians.
- Hunters - Headshots of all known Hunters, per Talk:Hunters.
- Also, the recent pic of Kachina dancers made me think that maybe we want to put a picture of the Coyote Kachina dancer on the page for Coyote (Child of Oberon). -- Supermorff 15:43, 17 January 2009 (CST)
